WORK4YOUTH photo exhibition Budapest

The International Labour Organization (ILO) organized an exhibition from the best Central and Eastern European photos of the "WORK4YOUTH" photo contest.

At the end of 2012, the International Labour Organization (ILO) launched a photo contest that focused on young people at work.

The photo contest was organized in partnership with the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for Central and Eastern Europe in Budapest, and financed by The MasterCard Foundation.

The objective of the contest was to highlight the challenges young people face in the workplace, as well as propose innovative ideas to address them. Participants were invited to capture youth at work (in different places and under various conditions) in a creative and original manner.

Given the high quality and beauty of the photos that the jury received, the decision-making process was long and tough. After much discussion, the jury finally reached an agreement on the three top images submitted to the ‘Central and Eastern Europe’ category.

The present exhibition gives an overview of the best photos received from Central and Eastern Europe.
