Workshop on how to make modern occupational safety and health legislation
DWT/CO-Budapest and the ILO’s International Training Center organized a workshop on effective occupational safety and health law making for 30 representatives of government, including labour inspectors, and social partners, from 20 to 22 June 2012, in Tirana, Albania.
The workshop focused on the systemic approach to occupational safety and health introduced by the EU Framework Directive 89/391/EEC, relevant international labour standards, the process of law making and legislative drafting techniques. The event was organized by the EU IPA Human Resources 2010 project being implemented by the ILO.
