    With ILO assistance, the Government of Moldova is developing innovative and ambitious policies for combating undeclared work, including a voucher system for occasional workers in agriculture, subsidy of social security contributions and by strengthening the labour inspectorate.

    What does the European Labour Authority do to improve labour inspection and labour mobility?

    In September, 2022, the ILO and the ELA collaborated on recommendations on how to reduce the risks of trafficking in persons, labour exploitation and undeclared work, with a focus on Ukrainian refugees in Moldova and the European Member states.     New mobile application protects workers’ rights in Moldova

    The ILO supported the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) to launch a mobile application at the end of September, 2022 enabling trade union members to report workers’ rights violations to the unions and the State Labour Inspectorate. Within two weeks, about 400 users downloaded the application.
