Stakeholders meeting "Promoting the integration of migrant domestic workers in Europe: the case of Belgium"

A National Stakeholders meeting "Promoting the Integration of Migrant Domestic workers in Europe: the case of Belgium" is organized in Brussels by the Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) of the University of Antwerp. This is one of the partners of the ILO-coordinated and EU-funded research project "Promoting Integration of Migrant Domestic workers in Europe".

The aim of this national consultation meeting with stakeholders and experts (authorities, social partners, trade unions, academicians, ILO ...) is to present the research findings gathered by CeMIS and to seek relevant input towards policy considerations.

CeMIS is the Belgian research partner in the EU-funded ILO research project "Promoting Integration of Migrant Domestic workers in Europe" which is taking place simultaneously in Belgium, France, Italy and Spain. The project's aim is to expand the knowledge about the integration of and employment policies for migrant domestic workers in the EU, while at the same time enhancing stakeholders' capacities to identify and remove barriers for the socioeconomic integration of migrant domestic workers.
