International buyers and key stakeholders of Jordan’s garment sector to meet at Better Work Jordan’s Annual Buyers’ Forum
The Buyers’ Forum will bring together international buyers and key stakeholders to discuss key priorities and achievements of the sector.
International buyers, senior Jordanian government officials, union representatives and factory managers, among others, will meet at Better Work Jordan’s Buyers’ Forum to discuss the sector’s latest developments.
The eighth Annual Buyers’ Forum will discuss ways to achieve new milestones in the working and living conditions of the sector’s workers, building capacities for national constituents, improving the country’s competitiveness and the sector in general.
For the first time, the Buyers’ Forum will include representatives of European buyers.
The forum is a part of the joint ILO-International Finance Corporation Better Work Jordan project, which aims to improve working conditions and promote competitiveness in Jordan’s apparel industry.
