After reviewing the evolution of the economic relations between China and Latin America in trade, direct foreign investment and infrastructure projects, the following sections present an overview, as far as the limited information allows, of the quantitative and qualitative effects of China on employment in LAC through trade, direct foreign investment and infrastructure projects.
