  1. ILO/China Partnership Programme on Strengthening Skills Development in Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic and Myanmar through South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC)

    1 January 2020 - 31 December 2025

    This project aims to improve employability of workers and increase productivity of enterprises through better quality of employment services, skills development and institutional capacity building.

  1. Support to the Rights and Entitlements of Persons with Disabilities (China)

    30 June 2017

    This UN joint programme intends to develop the capacity of Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs) and government to advance the rights of persons with disabilities.

2015

  1. Promoting Rights and Opportunities for People with Disabilities in Employment through Legislation (PROPEL-China)

    1 January 2014 - 31 December 2015

    PROPEL-China PhaseII will continue to support capacity building, and policy development in promoting training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and persons with intellectual disabilities in particular as well as providing support to the fostering of non-discrimination against people with disabilities in employment and occupation in general. The programme will also contribute to strengthened media capacity to report on the rights of persons with disabilities, including those with intellectual disabilities and portray their working capacities.

  1. Promoting Rights and Opportunities for People with Disabilities - Equality through Legislation

    14 May 2012 - 31 December 2013

    PROPEL-China will improve better work and employment opportunities created for men and women with disabilities, especailly the intellectual disabilities, through the creation of an enabling legal and policy environment, the promotion of skills and entrepreneurship development opportunities and measures to eliminate discrimination.

2011

  1. Culture and Development Partnership Framework

    23 November 2008 - 31 December 2011

    The Millennium Development Goal Achievement Fund (MDG-F) programme aims to accelerate progress towards attainment of the MDGs in selected countries, including China. MDG-F Programme “China Culture and Development Partnership Framework (CDPF)” commenced in China in December 2008 and provides a unique opportunity to improve the employment and economic prospects of China's ethnic minorities, through a culture based development. The Programme brings together 8 UN Agencies and their counterparts, who are jointly implementing activities related to 7 project outputs.

  2. Livelihood Recovery Project in Sichuan

    1 January 2010 - 30 April 2011

    Livelihood Recovery Project in Sichuan is to help 5,000 farmers who lost their farmland and 600 disabled farmers or their family members due to the 2008 earthquake, to increase their income and employment viability through “Start and Improve Your Business” (SIYB) training and vocational training, meanwhile, to help Red Cross develop their capacity to plan and implement employment promotion projects, especially in vocational training and “Start and Improve Your Business” (SIYB) training.
