  1. EU-China Dialogue on Migration and Mobility Support Project

    11 April 2015 - 31 December 2018

    The Project represents a third phase of EU-IOM-ILO partnership on migration management in China. It aims at maximizing the benefits of international migration and focuses on the four pillars of the Global Approach to Migration and Mobility framework that are of common interest to both European and Chinese stakeholders.

  1. Capacity Building For Migration Management in China Project Phase II

    1 July 2012 - 31 December 2013

    The Capacity Building for Migration Management in China Project (CBMM-China) Phase II is a joint undertaking involving the close cooperation and coordination of IOM, ILO, and the Government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), the European Union (EU), and various EU Member States (MS). The purpose of the project is to further promote the development of Europe-China cooperation and exchange on migration management issues, as well as to expand the channels of regular migration, and protect the rights of migrants.

2011

  1. Protecting and Promoting the Rights of China's Vulnerable Young Migrants

    1 March 2009 - 31 December 2011

    The Millennium Development Goal Achievement Fund (MDG-F) programme aims to accelerate progress towards attainment of the MDGs in selected countries, including China. The Youth, Employment and Migration (YEM) is a UN joint Programme sponsored by the MDG-F, commenced in China in February 2009 and provides a unique opportunity to ensure that the response to the largest movement of people in modern times is rights-based, poverty-focused, and fully informed by international good practice. The Programme brings together 9 UN Agencies and their counterparts, who are jointly implementing activities related to 10 project outputs.

  1. Capacity Building for Migration Management in China

    1 April 2008 - 30 June 2010

    The Project seeks to enhance the knowledge-sharing and understanding of respective migration systems between relevant Chinese and European Union authorities, as well as to promote cooperation between the two sides in migration field via the exchange of expertise, information and personnel.
