  2. Workshop on Public Employment Services Practices and Policy

    The Chinese government is working on improving the public employment system (PES) to respond to new challenges brought by the new normal of the Chinese economy and the new requirements to delivering comprehensive or “all-round” public employment services. This workshop aims to support the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China (MOHRSS) in formulating policy proposals to strengthen PES in China by sharing knowledge and experience on PES at country and global levels; exchanging ideas and research products on PES undertaken in China and in the ILO; and discussing policy proposals on how to deliver all-round public employment services in China.

  1. Capacity Building Workshop to Improve the Delivery of Public Employment Services and to Strengthen Youth Rights at Work in China

    24 - 27 October 2017

    To improve local employment officials’ capacity in their delivery of public employment services (PES) for both young women and men, including persons with disabilities, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) jointly organize a workshop on public employment services in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

  2. ILO/MOHRSS Experts Meeting on Monitoring and Evaluation Approaches and Systems Relevant to Youth Employment and Training on Monitoring and Evaluation of Youth Employment Interventions in China

    14 - 16 March 2017

    The ILO CO-Beijing is collaborating with the Institute of Labour Studies, the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Protection (MOHRSS) to organize an expert meeting to discuss the monitoring and evaluation approaches for China’s youth employment policies.

  1. ILO/MOHRSS Seminar on Internship

    As part of its technical cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China (MOHRSS), the ILO co-organizes an expert seminar on the working conditions and labour protection of interns. The seminar features national and international experts from MOHRSS, the ILO and the US Department of Labour.
