  1. CMTU Training Workshop on OSH Legislation for Trade Union Officials and Representatives

    23 - 24 January 2020

    This is a follow-up to the CMTU lawyers’ training that was held on 23-24 October 2019. It aims at improving capacity of trade union officials and representatives to provide basic advice on the national occupational safety and health legislation to workers and union members, especially those in the informal economy. The training workshop is supported by the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

  1. CMTU Training on Employment Contracts for Construction Workers

    13 December 2019

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) and its affiliate –the Construction Workers’ Trade Union are organizing this training for members-tower crane operators to improve their understanding of employment contracts. The training is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  2. Tripartite Workshop on Reduction of Informal Employment in the Construction Sector through Labour Inspection

    12 December 2019

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) will host a tripartite workshop as part of its efforts to address issues and challenges of informal workers in the construction sector. The workshop is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  4. CMTU/ILO Sub-Regional Seminar on Informal Economy: Trade Union Policies and Actions

    21 - 22 October 2019

    This is a follow up activity to the Inter-regional Seminar on Effective use of the ILS to promote formalization including through effective wage setting systems that was held on 23–24 July 2019 in Kyrgyzstan. The seminar is supported by the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

  5. ILO-CMTU Training on Organizing Workers in the Formal Economy and Collective bargaining

    27 - 30 August 2019

    This is the first in a three-training series that aim at enhancing the capacity of trade union trainers and organizers in working with and reaching out to workers in the informal economy. The whole exercise is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  1. ILO/CMTU Regional Training Seminar on Decent Work

    17 - 18 October 2017

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) is organizing this training workshop with the ILO technical inputs. The workshop aims at helping regional trade unions discuss and plan actions for operationalizing decent work in their own contexts.

  2. ILO/CMTU Training Workshop on Organizing, Representing Workers and Collective Bargaining for Decent Work

    5 - 7 September 2017

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) and the ILO are jointly organizing this training workshop with the support of the EU Funded project “CAMELS – Sustaining GSP-Plus status by strengthened national capacities to improve ILS compliance and reporting – Mongolia” (MNG/15/50/EUR). It aims at improving capacity of key trade union officials of CMTU in organizing, representing and collective bargaining in the changing world of work.
