  1. Joint Action to Promote Inclusive Employment for University Graduates with Disabilities Launched

    ILO Global Business and Disability Network China Chapter launched the Joint Action to Promote Employment for University Graduates with Disabilities on 20 May 2021 Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, calling for action from government, business, people with disabilities and other stakeholders to work jointly and creatively to promote employment for graduates with disabilities.

    The ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia and UN Women China Office jointly organized a Conference on Gender Equality and the Future of Work, from 23 to 24 September, in Beijing to take stock of the progress made and explore ways forward.

  1. China Inclusive Businesses Forum and Launching Ceremony of the ILO Global Business and Disability Network (GBDN) China Chapter

    To support companies in increasing their opportunities to promote disability inclusion in China, the ILO GBDN will launch its GBDN-China Chapter in Beijing, and invite CEOs of its founding members to sign the GBDN-China Charter.

  1. Roundtable Discussion on Conclusion and Recommendation of the Study on Application of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work of Small and Medium Enterprises Conducted by the National Human Rights Commission

    National Human Rights Commission has conducted a study on the application of fundamental principles and rights at work of small and medium sized enterprises in trade, commerce and wool and cashmere sectors.

  2. ILO/MONEF Workshop on Developing a Self-Assessment Tool for Employers: Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work

    13 September - 19 October 2017

    Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF) is developing a Self-assessment tool to support its members to comply with international labour standards to ensure accessibility to international market. This is the first round of discussion of the tool and the second one is scheduled to be organized in Darkhan city in October 2017.

  3. Promoting Rights of People with Disabilities and Sustainable Development in China: Concluding Symposium on the UNPRPD Project in Support to the Rights and Entitlements of Persons with Disabilities in China

    The forum takes stock of existing achievements of UN Partnership on Rights of Persons with Disabilities-China Project, while suggesting next steps for the UN agencies in China to further support the Chinese Government in order to accelerate the process towards systematic changes for mainstreaming equal rights of persons with disabilities.

  1. High-Level Tripartite Symposium on the Future of Work in China

    The first “Future of Work Dialogue” in China, the symposium aims to explore the four “centenary conversations” including work and society, decent jobs for all, the organization of work and production, and the governance of work and make suggestions for further research, areas for collaborative action and format of future Dialogues.

  2. Seminar on Media and Disability Advocacy – Promotion of Positive Media Reporting on Persons with Disabilities

    7 - 8 June 2016

    With the support of UNESCO, ILO and Handicap International, One Plus One Beijing Disabled Persons’ Cultural Development Center and Inclusion China jointly organize the seminar. Participants discuss and exchange how media and communication can contribute to restoring positive images of persons with disabilities through positive reporting, in order to promote disability rights and the inclusion of people with disabilities in the society.

  1. ILO/CEC Workshop on Promotion of Gender Equality at Work
