ILO/Japan Greener Business Asia - High Level Expert Meeting
23 - 24 February 2010
This High Level Expert Meeting aims to exchange the current state of knowledge, practices, challenges and opportunities with regard to addressing social and environmental challenges, particularly energy efficiency, at the work place and relevant production practices with a view to helping inform the selection of sectors of intervention for pilot countries (Philippines and Thailand) and provide guidance and direction to the subsequent enterprise level intervention.

ILO/Japan - MOL National Seminar on Agenda for Labour Migration Policy in Thailand
23 February 2010
Jointly organized by ILO/Japan Project on Managing Cross-border Movement of Labour in Southeast Asia and Ministry of Labour, Thailand. The seminar is aimed to inform policy makers, planners and practitioners on: 1) The long-term labour migration policies to be considered by the Thai government; 2) The proposal for the efficient nationality verification process; and 3) The governance in management of labour migration in Thailand.

Tripartite High-Level Meeting : Decent Work for Sustainable Development in the Pacific

It served as a platform to identify existing constraints and opportunities for promoting/accelerating implementation of ILO Decent Work Country Programmes, in particular in light of the global economic crisis and climate change.
