The National Workshop will discuss the findings and recommendations of these studies, the feedbacks of which will be incorporated into the final publication.

In response to the Government’s request, three research institutions were sub-contracted to conduct the following studies:

1. A review on the implementation of the decision No.19/2004/QD-TTg;

2. A study on the situation of child labour focusing on the worst forms of child labour in a number of provinces and cities in Vietnam; and

3. A study on occupational health and working conditions of children working in the three most popular economic sectors of traditional textile, stone art work and wood art work.

The National Workshop convened by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will discuss the findings and recommendations of these studies, and will incorporate feedbacks from the workshop in order to finalize them before publication and dissemination.
