  2. Training of trainers on social protection in Lao People's Democratic Republic

    A refresher training of trainers (TOT) on social protection was organized by ILO and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in December 2023 in Vang Vieng, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The TOT applied practical and fun activities to encourage participants not only to learn from the trainers and from one another, but also to delve into their own experiences and analyse them.

  3. Briefing note for high-level visit to Champasak Province

    The briefing note provides summary information for the high-level delegates who visited Paksong District and Pakse City in Champasak Province of Lao PDR on 19 May 2023. The delegates met with beneficiaries and partners of three EU-funded projects implemented by ILO in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare: SOLAR, Ship to Shore Rights South East Asia, and Safe and Fair.

  2. Public Education 116: Work and Care Work

    The ILO and Jurnal Perempuan launch the 116 edition of Jurnal Perempuan on Work and Care Work, highlighting the importance of the ILO's 5R Framework on Care Work (Recognition, Reduction, Redistribution, Representation and Reward).

  3. Boosting Care Economy Awareness in Indonesia via Social Media

    The training aims to support the ILO to promote the “Recognize-Reduction-Redistribute (3R)” from the above 5R Framework of Care Economy, by digital-based awareness raising and outreach activities; to community of workers, business, employers, and social partners.

  4. Severance pay in Indonesia: Evidence from a small-scale survey during the onset of COVID-19 pandemic

    This survey paper was initially prepared as part of the ILO’s technical contributions in October 2020. The survey team collected 426 samples from waged employees between March and September 2020 and analyzed respondents’ history of employment termination and furlough.

    The training aims to equip the trade unionists with skills on social media and content awareness raising on issues related to care work.

  6. Fact Sheet of Advancing Social Protection in Cambodia

    Advancing social protection in Cambodia extends social protection coverage and quality of provisions by improving operational capabilities of social protection institutions and the adaptability of existing schemes to the characteristics and needs of those working in the informal sector and the vulnerable. The project is a joint collaboration between ILO, UNICEF and the EU Delegation in Cambodia over a 4 years’ time frame.
