    Estimates the size of child domestic workers population in Ho Chi Minh City.

  2. Education and Skills Training for Youth Employment in Indonesia (EAST)

    The EAST project aims to improve employability and capacity for entrepreneurship among young women and men through improved access to high quality, relevant educational and training opportunities, and eventually contribute to the elimination of child labour.

  3. Anti-child trafficking legislation in Asia: a six-country review

    Highlights inadequacies in the legal frameworks and discrepancies between national laws and international instruments in the six countries reviewed including Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia.

  4. Child-friendly standards & guidelines for the recovery and integration of trafficked children

    Includes procedures and services needed for the protection, recovery and social integration of child victims of trafficking, especially in shelters.

  5. Combating child trafficking in Asia: information package

    Contains regional and country level briefing sheets presenting an overview of the child trafficking situation in Asia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

    Contains 18 good practices and lessons learnt on prevention of child trafficking and rehabilitation of child victims of trafficking, based on the experiences of the ILO-IPEC TICSA-II.

  7. The Mekong challenge - working day and night - the plight of migrant child workers in Mae Sot, Thailand

    Report on the findings of a survey of more than 300 Burmese children working in factories on the Thai side of the border reveals a situation of serious labour exploitation, in many cases considered to be worst forms of child labour.

  8. Rehabilitation of the victims of child trafficking:

    Comprehensive needs-based approach including medical, social and legal elements, to ensure the effective rehabilitation of children rescued from trafficking and other abuses.
