Advisory Programme: Better Workplace, Better Factories
The Programme promoted responsible labour practices in the electronics industry in Viet Nam to comply with international labour standards and national law and enhance decent working conditions and industrial relations at the workplace.
The Advisory Programme was launched as a joint initiative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to offer free advisory services and training opportunities to electronic manufacturers in the country.
From June 2022 to January 2023, workers, employers and trade union representatives from the Viet Nam’s electronics sector have the opportunity to join different training courses, advisory sessions and seminars on:

- Gender equality in the electronics industry
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Dialogue and communication in the workplace
- Skills development
- Problem solving & self-diagnosis
- Manpower supply and labour sub-leasing services
- Preventing sexual harassment in the workplace
