The Information Center established within the Sanliurfa Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (ŞESOB) aims to raise employers’ and workers’ awareness on the rules and regulations in the labour market as well as transition to formality, by providing counselling and referral services. ŞESOB Information Center provides work permit application support as well as referral to training and employment opportunities in the province. ŞESOB Information Center was established under the project “Promoting Decent Jobs for Syrians under Temporary Protection and Turkish Citizens” implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Turkey in partnership with the Directorate-General for International Labour Force (DGILF) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MoLSS), and in cooperation with the Turkish Confederation of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), and funded by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank.
