  1. ILO contributes to gender mainstreaming through Participatory Gender Audit Training

    The International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Turkey organised “ILO Participatory Gender Audit (PGA) Training” in Ankara on 22-25 April 2019 for academicians and independent experts to understand the current state of gender equality practices, and contribute to gender mainstreaming at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and confederations of workers and employers.

  2. ILO fosters south-south cooperation to promote decent work for Syrian refugees and host communities

    Constituents from Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey came together in Jordan to discuss the promotion of decent work for Syrian refugees and host communities in the region, as part of a South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) initiative between the four countries, aimed at exchanging knowledge, skills, resources and technical know-how.

    The International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Turkey hosted a “Consultation Meeting on Determining Gender Pay Gap” on 3 April 2019 in Ankara with the participation of relevant stakeholders to evaluate the work on calculating and reducing gender pay gap and discuss future steps.

  6. ILO provides “Training on Public Employment Services and Basic Life Skills” in Hatay

    The International Labour Organization (ILO), in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), started a series of training on “Public Employment Services and Basic Life Skills” in Hatay. The training aims to facilitate the access of Syrians under temporary protection to labour markets and promote their integration into working life.
