ILO’s Work-Based Learning Programme (WBL), locally known as İŞMEP, continues to support both jobseekers and employers by expanding its outreach to three new provinces: Adana, Bursa and Denizli. In addition to its similar interventions in Gaziantep and Ankara, the ILO will develop the skills of additional 700 jobseekers in Adana, Bursa and Denizli and place them into jobs with the private sector enterprises.

The WBL enables jobseekers to develop their skills through the on-the-job and off-the-job vocational training, offered jointly with the Adana Organized Industrial Zone, Denizli Organized Industrial Zone and Bursa Yıldırım Municipality. On-the-job training is provided by employers at the workplaces, while off-the-job training is provided by the ILO partner in each province.

Deadline for applications in all these provinces is extended to 31 August 2022.
