The “Entrepreneur Camp 2021 Programme” is a compact entrepreneur pre-incubator, incubator and accelerator programme organized through InnoPark TGB and supported by the United Nations International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Turkey. The programme focuses on supply and demand sides of local labour markets, supports business actors in creating more jobs, identifying new opportunities to start up new micro and small-sized enterprises and enhance the existing ones, and promoting income-generating activities.

In this context, the “Entrepreneur Camp 2021 Programme” is designed as an Entrepreneurship Support programme to promote and support refugees and host community members with entrepreneurship potential in the province of Konya to start new enterprises or enhance the existing ones.

Programme Objectives

Under the “Entrepreneur Camp 2021 Programme”:
  • At the first phase, 60 entrepreneurs admitted to the programme will be provided 72 hours of advance entrepreneurship training and workshops will be organized.
  • At the second phase, 30 selected entrepreneurs will be provided 180 hours of one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
  • At the end of the Entrepreneurship Programme, a Micro-Grant Programme will be implemented to which entrepreneurs within and without the Programme may apply.
The Micro-Grant Programme will provide micro grants to 10 selected entrepreneurs to realize their project ideas. Successful entrepreneurs who have participated in entrepreneurship and mentoring phases and applied for the Micro-Grant Programme will be given priority.
The sessions of training, mentoring and coaching will be held online during the programme.

The “Entrepreneur Camp 2021 Programme” is implemented under the project “Decent Work Opportunities for Refugees and Host Communities in Turkey” implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) with funding from the United States Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (USBPRM).

The overall objective of “Decent Work Opportunities for Refugees and Host Communities in Turkey” is to strengthen the resilience and social cohesion of refugees and host communities through supporting inclusive economic growth based on decent jobs and decent work principles.
