A webinar will be held on 30 September 2020 at 14.00 hours to launch the “Report on Measuring Gender Pay Gap in Turkey”, produced in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) and containing the data on gender pay gap calculated for the first time using different methods under the “More and Better Jobs for Women Programme - Phase II” with funding support from Sweden, and to share the significant findings of the Report with the public.

The webinar will start with opening remarks by Numan Özcan, Director of ILO Office for Turkey, and Muhammed Cahit Şirin, Acting President of TURKSTAT, and feature a panel on “Calculating Gender Pay Gap in Turkey” moderated by Ebru Özberk Anlı, Senior Programme Officer at ILO Office for Turkey, with panellists Assoc.Prof.Dr. Emel Memiş of Ankara University, and Hüseyin Tancan Kale, Acting Head of Labour Input Indicators Group at TURKSTAT.
