SADA Women’s Cooperative Holds Another Session of Capacity Building Training

A session of capacity building training on income distribution was facilitated by the partners of “Youth Deal Cooperative” for SADA Women’s Cooperative established under the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls” funded by the European Union and Government of Japan, implemented by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO), Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality (GMM) and Association for Solidarity with Asylum-Seekers and Migrants (ASAM) as implementing partners. Fifty women partners of SADA Women’s Cooperative participated in the training held on 11 October 2019 at GESOB event hall.

The training addressed, through group work, basic revenues and expenses of cooperatives, calculating costs, and how to distribute the income derived from production and sales activities of the cooperative among partners. Each participant had the opportunity to present her ideas and suggestions on how to share the income.
