    The ILO and the European Commission concluded their joint project "Improving social protection and promoting employment” in a workshop organized in Brussels. The project, signed in 2009, supported Burkina Faso, Cambodia and Honduras in the development of integrated social protection and employment policies.

    Every 3rd of December, persons with disabilities across all nations gather to commemorate the International Day of the Disabled (IDPD). The event which is observed annually internationally goes way back to 1992 with different themes each year all addressing the various concerns of persons with disabilities with the aim of promoting awareness towards inclusiveness.
