Today, on International Women's Day, I stand before you not just as a leader, but as a witness. Women across our diverse continent are shattering barriers and achieving success, yet inequalities persist: the burdens of care, the stereotypes, the violence and harassment that stains our workplaces. These hold back not just women, but our entire continent. Gender equality is not just a women's issue; it's a societal imperative.

This International Women's Day, let's not just celebrate progress, but ignite action! Let us invest in childcare, smash glass ceilings, and build a future where every woman can thrive. Remember, when women rise, Africa rises!
