  1. 2011 Strategic Planning and Knowledge Management Meeting for ILO Directors in Africa

    17 - 21 January 2011

    The Regional Office for Africa will host the 2011 Strategic Planning and Knowledge Management Meeting for ILO Directors in the region from 17-20 January 2011 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This important event - to be also attended by high-level participants from HQ - will mainly focus on better supporting delivery and performance, improving the knowledge management system, as well as enhancing programming and resource mobilization strategies for stronger impact and delivery in Africa.

    Leaders from the real economy, meeting at the International Labour Organization's annual conference, held a high-level debate on ways out of the global economic and jobs crisis and called for an urgent, balanced policy approach that would combine economic recovery with jobs growth.
