Informal economy: what are the challenges for Unions in West Africa?

The transition from formal to informal economy is one of the topics of discussion at the 104th International Labour Conference which is being held from 1 to 13 June 2015 in Geneva. The following is an interview with Alex Bonney, President of the Organization of Trade Unions of West Africa (OTUWA) who expresses his views on the challenges faced by Unions to facilitate the transition from informal to formal economy in West Africa.
