Lima, 26 October 2011 (ACTRAV INFO)-The Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV) took part in the fourth meeting of the Technical Working Group on Trade Union Reform, which was held in Lima from 22 to 26 October 2011.

This meeting was scheduled in the context of Phase 2 of the project for supporting the trade union self-reform process in Latin America.

In the course of the session the participants drew up regional strategies in the context of the reform of the trade union movement in the Americas and also adopted an action plan for 2012.

It should be noted that the Technical Working Group on Trade Union Reform (GTAS) was set up in 2009 with the participation of the American trade union organizations, and in particular the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (TUCA).
