    The 317th session of the Governing Body adopted the latest report of the Committee on Freedom of Association. Yves Veyrier, the workers’ spokesperson on this Committee, fills in some details of the results obtained by the unions, on the issue of the right to strike and the application of the Committee’s decisions and recommendations.

  6. Call for Papers-Trade Unions and Cooperatives: Challenges and Perspectives (Deadline:2 February 2013)

    The papers would ideally show how trade unions have been using the cooperative model and working with the cooperative movement to achieve economic, social and political objectives. This call for papers is thus particularly interested in case-studies that can provide lessons for trade union practioners and co-operators internationally. Papers should be no more than 7,000 words, excluding tables and references. Proposals will be received until February 2, 2013.
