    In late March, a delegation of the ILO Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV) headed by Maria Helena Andre, ACTRAV Director, visited the Russian Federation. The programme of the visit included participation in international trade union fora, meetings with heads of trade union associations and staff of the ILO Moscow Office.

  1. First phase of training for trade unions project implemented in Uzbekistan

    The first seminar in a series of similar events provided for in the advanced training of trainers project for trade unions in Uzbekistan was successfully completed in the country on 24 – 30 November. This project is part of the Decent Work Agenda for the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2014 – 2016, agreed upon between the International Labour Organization and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
