The International Labour Standards is one of the topics of discussion at the 322nd session of the ILO Governing Body, which was held in Geneva from 30 October to 13 November 2014. In this interview, Marie Clarke Walker, Vice-president of the Canadian Labour Congress, explains the challenges related to the ratification and implementation of the ILO core Conventions in her country. Ms. Walker also highlights the Canadian experience on tripartism in terms of promoting freedom of association and collective bargaining.
