Events and meetings
In addition ACTRAV organizes other events, meetings and workshops, both at headquarters and in the field, focusing on the areas of activities of the bureau.
ACTRAV is at the service of workers representatives as they participate in different meetings at the ILO. Colleagues do also assist in preparing case files that will help worker representatives develop their positions and arguments for the Annual Conference of the ILO, the Governing Body, regional and sectoral conferences and in the Office's various activities.

ILO Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean Breakfast Meeting
This event will showcase in a concise, high-impact manner how the ILO is preparing with the Caribbean for the future of work through the presentation of the two aforementioned documents. This aims to reinforce ILO’s voice and visibility as the world’s expert agency for the world of work, and indeed the future of work, in this case focusing on training.

CEC-CCL 2nd Regional Bipartite Meeting
This Regional Bipartite Meeting will essentially be dedicated to discuss and adopt joint policy positions which the regional organizations CCL and CEC will advocate and promote within CARICOM forums and their affiliates will champion at the national level.

Organizing and Decent Work for Domestic Workers and Elimination of Child Labour in Domestic Work
Domestic work is one of the largest sectors of informal sector work in urban areas in Asian countries and an important source of employment of migrant workers, predominantly women and children. Globally, one in every 13 female wage worker is employed in domestic work. Developing countries in Asia are a major source of international migrants working as domestics both within Asia and beyond.

Independent evaluation of the ILO’s decent work country programmes, strategies and actions in the Caribbean (2010-15)
The ILO is conducting an evaluation of the ILO’s decent work country programmes, strategies and actions in the Caribbean. The evaluation will be managed by the Evaluation Office in close coordination with the ILO DWT/CO-Port of Spain and the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (RO-Lima) DWT/CO- Port of Spain.

Global Dialogue Forum on Good Practices and Challenges in Promoting Decent Work in Construction and Infrastructure Projects
The purpose of the Forum was for tripartite constituents to highlight good practices in promoting decent work in a selected number of areas, including in large-scale infrastructure projects such as mega sports events.
