International Journal of Labour Research: Trade Union Strategies Towards Global Productions Systems
The ILO's Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV) is pleased to announce the launch of its latest publication, the International Journal of Labour Research (IJLR).
The IJLR takes a multi-disciplinary approach and will debate the challenges that rapid changes in societies and at workplaces pose for labour at local, national and global level. This inaugural issue presents six articles from trade union researchers and academics focusing on the theme: "Trade union strategies towards global production systems".
The second issue, already in preparation, will examine "Global Capital Strategies and Trade Union Responses: Collective bargaining and transnational trade union cooperation." It will be available in early November 2009.
Trade union researchers and academics are invited as regular contributors.
