A better future starts with education

About the Event

The elimination of child labor has been at the heart of the work of the International Labour Organization (ILO) since its creation over 100 years ago, and the US Department of Labor (USDOL) has been a longstanding partner in this fight. The ILO and the USDOL have been collaborating since 1995 to combat child labor and forced labor: more than 100 projects have been implemented and a wealth of information has been generated to guide policy efforts and raise awareness.

This joint USDOL-ILO web event will serve to further raise awareness of child labor and ongoing concerns, as well as providing examples of engagement globally that have helped address child labor.
