Using the Database of Conditions of Work and Employment Laws

Search by country and subject

This search mode allows users to search information by countries and subjects.

Choosing the country or countries: The database provides a list of all ILO member States sorted in alphabetical order. Users are able to select all ILO member States (“All countries”), one country or several countries.

• To select “All countries” or one country, click on the country to highlight it and then click on the button.
• To select several countries, hold the CTRL key down, highlight the countries you wish to select and click on the button.

Choosing the subject: The system provides a list of subjects and sub-categories. By following the same procedure as above (country selection) users can select one or several subjects.

Clicking on the button will expand only the sub-categories of the selected subject.

Clicking on the button will allow the user to see all subjects and sub-categories available.

To select a country or a subject, select the desired item from the list and click on the button. The item will appear in the selected items list. To remove an item from the selected items lists, select it and click on the button. To remove all the selected items, click on the button.

Clicking on the button launches the search.
