Sexual harassment at work: National and international responses, Conditions of Work and Employment Series No. 2

Sexual harassment at work examines initiatives to prevent and combat workplace sexual harassment at international level and in countries across the world. It reviews international standards and national legislation; the activities of government, employers and workers organizations, and NGOs; and workplace policies and programmes. The report identifies the main approaches being taken, highlighting dominant trends and singling out key recent developments. The author is a labour lawyer and Research Officer with the ILO’s Conditions of Work and Employment Programme. She conducts research on the legal regulation of working conditions, including in the areas of working time and workplace violence and harassment.
