• presents examples illustrating how countries have used minimum wage setting to protect domestic workers' remuneration;

• explores domestic workers’ vulnerability to abusive practices in relation to payment of remuneration, and possible measures to address them; and

• concludes by proposing points for consideration by concerned policy makers.
