Overview of references made to MNE Declaration in international and regional policy frameworks
Since its initial adoption in November 1977, the MNE Declaration has been widely cited and referenced in global, regional and national policies. The principles of the MNE Declaration represent a global tripartite consensus on and provide guidance to enterprises on social policy and inclusive, responsible and sustainable practices. They serve as a major reference point in this sphere.
