The ILO publishes a wide range of books, reports, working papers, training manuals, CD-ROMs, videos and flash movies, relevant to the South Pacific Island Countries. Some of these can be downloaded directly. Others can be requested from the ILO Library in Suva.

  7. Tuvalu National Labour Migration Policy

    The Tuvalu National Labour Migration Policy and Action Plan was approved by Cabinet in Tuvalu in August 2015, following detailed tripartite consultation. The new NLMP promotes continued bilateral and regional dialogue and cooperation on labour migration, with the aim of strengthening Tuvalu’s existing labour migration arrangements and developing new opportunities. It ensures that the Government has a cohesive policy framework in which supply-side factors, such as the employability of labour market entrants and their access to skills training, are linked with demand-side factors in both the domestic and foreign labour markets.
