The ILO-Irish Aid Partnership Programme funds projects that focus on the specific needs of people with disabilities. A current technical cooperation project on disability is Promoting the Employability and Employment of People with Disabilities through Effective Legislation (PEPDEL). The project aims to support the review and reform of disability-related training in employment laws and policies, and their effective implementation in selected countries of East and Southern Africa, Asia and the Pacific. In addition, the Project Promoting Decent Work for People with Disabilities through a Disability Inclusion Support Service (INCLUDE) works to build capacity at regional and national levels to effectively support the full participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream programmes and services focussing on vocational training, entrepreneurship development, employment, and micro-finance. INCLUDE operates in selected countries of East and Southern Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
