Skills for Trade and Economic Diversification (STED) is a programme that provides sector level technical assistance on identifying the skills development strategies required for future success in international trade. It is designed to support growth and decent employment creation in sectors that have the potential to increase exports and to contribute to economic.

  1. Togo: STED Capacity Building Training Workshop

    The ILO has organized a STED capacity building training workshop in Lomé, Togo on 10-13 July 2018 for national and sectoral stakeholders including representatives from government ministries and apex organizations, representatives from workers’ and employers’ organizations, representatives from sectoral organizations and associations, and representatives from training institutions and universities.

  2. Book launch: "Investing in Skills for Inclusive Trade"

    This publication, co-published by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Labour Office (ILO), is to be launched at the WTO on 4 July. Building on previous collaboration between the WTO and the ILO, this publication focuses on the linkages between trade and skills and between trade and skills development policies.
