Sub-regional Meeting 'Disability Legislation: Decent Work for Persons with Disabilities in Asia'

The meeting was jointly organized by the ILO and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) with sponsorship by the Government of Ireland. The main objective was to provide participants with an appropriate platform for discussion regarding the main legal issues in the field of employment discrimination law relating to disability and to sensitize them to key concepts in disability discrimination law and specifically the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
