11th session of the Joint ILO/UNESCO Committee of Experts on the Application of the Recommendations concerning Teaching Personnel (CEART)

The 11th session of the Joint ILO/UNESCO Committee of Experts on the Application of the Recommendations concerning Teaching Personnel (CEART) will be held in
Geneva at the International Labour Office (ILO) headquarters from 8 to 12 October 2012.

The Joint Committee will examine reports on the application of the Recommendation that are submitted by governments, by national organizations representing teachers and their employers, by the ILO and UNESCO, and by relevant intergovernmental or non-governmental organizations. It will then communicate its findings to the ILO Governing Body, the International Labour Conference and the UNESCO Executive Board, so that they may take appropriate action and authorize transmission to member States of both organizations.
