- Page 35. “Inspection planning and tools”, in the first bullet, (2.4.3)” should be replaced with “(2.4.4)”.

- Page 56. 4.3.1 Fishing vessel owners, under “The inspector should verify that the fishing vessel owner is aware of and has fulfilled these legal obligations”, in the bullet point beginning “provided fishers with appropriate protective equipment”, the reference at the end “(Article 32.2(a)” should be changed to “(Article 32.3(a)”.

- Page 57. In footnote 45, the reference to “p.38” should be to “p.68”).

- Page 82. In 4.12 Joint safety and health committees:

Replace: “For fishing vessels of 24 m in length and over normally remaining at sea for more than three days, joint committees on occupational safety and health should be established: (a) ashore; or (b) on fishing vessels, where determined by the competent authority, after consultation, to be practicable in light of the number of fishers on board the vessel (Convention No. 188, Article 31(e)).”

- Page 98, 4.18.1 Prohibition 1: Hazardous child labour, the second paragraph, second sentence, the reference to “Article 3(d)” should be to “Article 3(d)”.

- Page 101, in the sixth paragraph, beginning with “Note:”, the sentence that reads: “The Convention also specifies…” should be changed to “Recommendation No. 188 specifies...”.

- Page 103, in Exercise 4.17, In the sentence “Fishers shall not be charged…”, the reference to “Article 22.3(c)” should be changed to “Article 22.3(b)”.

- Page 107. In Exercise 4.19, the text after the table contained the exercise should be deleted (it repeats paragraphs found before the exercise).

- Page 124. After the first paragraph, the enumeration of the contents should be from 6.1.1 to 6.1.8.

- Page 134. In 6.2.5 State of inspection and enforcement, n point 6, in the sentence “If yes, how does its scope compare with the Convention No. 188 issues listed above in 3.a. (Applicable law)?” the reference should be to “Table 6.5. Template for Convention No. 188 coverage” on page 130-131.
