The purpose of the Action Plan is to set out for the Governing Body, for member States, and the ILO’s social partners, what the Office plans to do in the next 5 years to achieve widespread ratification and implementation of Convention No. 188 and take into account Recommendation No. 199. This Action Plan is aimed at States that may wish to ratify the Convention, and States and others that may wish to assist the ILO in the promotion of the Convention.
