  1. Academy on Social Security

    This course is organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO. It will be held in English. It offers a unique opportunity to benefit from a diversified training package on governance and financing, reforms and extension of social protection systems. Participants will tailor-make their own two-week course within several elective courses, as well as benefiting from an innovative and dynamic learning environment.

  2. Employment injury schemes and the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases

    This course is organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO. Held in English, its general objective of the course is to strengthen the capacity of employment injury institutions for the improvement of the coverage and management of the occupational accidents and diseases and for the promotion of the prevention of occupational safety and health.

  3. Decent work for domestic workers

    This course is organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO. Held in English, it will focus on increasing awareness of the Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (Nº 189) and the Domestic Workers Recommendation, 2011 (Nº 201), to strengthen the broad protection of vulnerable groups such as migrant domestic workers and victims of child domestic labour. Exchange of good practices will be encouraged.

  4. Ageing societies, employment and social protection

    This course is organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO. Held in English, it aimed to provide participants with comprehensive understanding of implications of ageing on social protection systems and the labour market and will enable them to develop adequate responses to its impacts.

  5. Assessing the feasibility, fiscal cost and impact of national social protection floors

    This course is organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO. It will be held in English. It proposes to focus on the practical ways to establish the analytical facts base for the implementation of the SPF concept at the national level. It is intended as the introductory course on technical assessments while specialized training is planned to master with more depth techniques such as institutional building, modelling, impact assessment and national accounts and budgeting.   6. Master of Science in Health Security Financing and Management

    The Master of Science in Health Security Financing and Management at the Naresuan University, offered in partnership with the International Labour Office, is designed to provide current and future social security experts with high level quantitative and analytical skills to meet the challenges of achieving comprehensive health systems in various Asia and Pacific countries.

  7. Cape Verde: National Institute of Social Security promotes workshop on strengthening Social Protection

    The National Institute of Social Security (INPS) of Cape Verde organized, with the support of the International Labour Organization, a workshop on 10-11 December 2012 to discuss with social partners the strengthening of social security in the country. Several issues were under discussion, namely the ratification of the ILO Convention nº 102, the legal and management framework of INPS investments and the control of payments and debt collection.

  9. ILO/Korea Fellowship training on strengthening social protection in Asia: Learning from Korean experience on Employment Insurance (EI) and Employment Injury Insurance (EII)
