The international trade union movement has had a historic role in combating forced labour through abolitionist legislation and international law, organising, social dialogue, and direct assistance.

This guide offers examples of good practices in order to encourage workers and unions to join the ITUC global trade union alliance against forced labour and to step up efforts to rid the world of forced labour.
