The core tasks of the Authority are to encourage the enforcement of the OSH Act, promote training and research, provide information on standards and OSH matters, and develop / make recommendations on regulations and codes of practice.
The OSH Agency is the enforcement arm of the Authority. The main objective of the Agency is to ensure compliance with the OSH Act and related regulations in accordance with the enforcement policy that encourages voluntary compliance in the first instance.
