WORKERS' EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENT

The original set consisted of a guide and six booklets on the following subjects:

Booklet 1		Workers and Environment
Booklet 2		The Workplace and Environment
Booklet 3		The Community and Environment
Booklet 4		World Environmental Issues
Booklet 5		The New Bargaining Agenda
Booklet 6		Resources and Glossary
This set of booklets was developed in English, French and Spanish during the first phase the project and they are no longer in print. However, they set the foundation upon which the next two sets of discussion booklets were able to be produced in the second phase of the project. The titles of the other sets of discussion booklets are:
	"Trade Unions and Environmentally Sustainable Development" and
	"Using ILO Standards to Promote Environmentally Sustainable Development"
and can also be found under the web heading "Training Material". The method used to develop the second set of booklets was through the collaborated efforts of many people, including workshop participants, study groups, National Trade Union Centres, International Trade Secretariats and the International Labour Office.
