Use for the treaties establishing the European Coal and Steel Community (1951), the European Economic Community (1957) and the European Atomic Energy Community (1957). The Communities merged in 1965 forming the European Communities. In 1967 a Merger Treaty established a single Council and a single Commission of the European Communities.
