Conférence Spéciale: Les impacts de la globalisation sur les inégalités de revenu par Yves Flückiger, Professeur Faculté des Sciences Economiques et Sociales, Université de Genève. Intervenant: Giovanni Ferro Luzzi, Université de Genève, mardi 25 mai 2004 à 14h30 R3 Sud, Salle V BIT.
Le Cours international de stagiaires sur les politiques sociales pour la promotion du travail décent est organisé annuellement par l'Institut international d'études sociales. Cette année, il se tiendra en français, du 12 mai au 1er juin 2004, et sera dirigé par le Professeur Yves Fluckiger, Faculté des sciences économiques et sociales, Université de Genève.
Vingt et une bourses seront offertes par l'Institut aux participants représentant les gouvernements, les organisations d'employeurs et les syndicats des États membres de l'OIT. L'objectif principal du cours est de permettre aux participants de renforcer leur capacité de développer des politiques sociales efficaces dans leur pays, notamment dans le domaine du travail. A cette fin, le cours de 2004 visera plus particulièrement à : (a) améliorer la connaissance des objectifs et des programmes de l'OIT ; (b) susciter une vision intégrée des politiques sociales et économiques ; et (c) stimuler l'échange d'idées et d'expériences entre les futurs décideurs de divers pays.
Le cours de stagiaires comprendra des exposés-débats, des conférences, des tables rondes et des visites d'entreprises. Le contenu du cours reflètera les principaux sujets et objectifs stratégiques de l'Agenda de l'OIT pour le travail décent. Les stagiaires auront également l'opportunité d'assister à la Conférence internationale du Travail qui débutera le 1er juin 2004.
